Dog collars at a range of prices

A dog collar is first and foremost for carrying the ID tag and attaching the lead on walks. Our selection brings together flat collars in fabric, faux leather or rope, pieces that stay visible at night, training tools and accessories that clip onto the collar your dog already wears. To choose well, start with your dog's neck size, then think about how it will be used.

For every day

A buckle, a ring for the lead, an adjustable strap: the most common type, available here in several materials and patterns.

  • the skull print collar, in polyester, from S (24-35 cm) to L (39-60 cm);
  • the floral collar with pendant, in polyester, decorated with a daisy;
  • the version with a removable flower, in polyamide, in five colours from pink to orange;
  • the pastel braided rope with soft leather, in eight colours;
  • the colourful casual style, in canvas;
  • the boho style in woven jacquard polyester, with a tassel and metal buckle;
  • the pastel corduroy, from XS (20-30 cm) to XL (38-60 cm).

Faux leather, no upkeep

For the look of a leather collar, the selection offers PU leather and faux leather:

  • the floral embossed leather, from XS to XL, easy to care for according to its product page;
  • the floral faux leather with a breathable neoprene lining, which its product page describes as anti-pull;
  • the padded faux leather, with a gold buckle.

Being seen at night

As night falls, in town or in the countryside, a reflective strip or a light helps you spot your companion:

  • the adjustable reflective collar, in polyester, in eight colours, from XS (15-22 cm) to XL (45-70 cm);
  • the neon PVC collar rechargeable via USB, and the paw-print faux leather one, also rechargeable;
  • the embroidered LED version, in adjustable polyester;
  • a round light-up pendant, or an LED tag, to clip onto the ring.

The whole range is in our LED dog collars range. If your dog wanders off on walks, take a look at a GPS dog tracker collar, or the GPS holder on the tactical nylon version, with its control handle.

Training and obedience

For training a dog that pulls, several tools are designed for practice: the double-twist stainless steel choke chain, the braided rope one with a safety stop, the polyester one with a stainless steel chain, and the vibration device with remote, which offers 3 modes (beep, low or strong vibration). These tools take some learning: ask a trainer for advice before using them.

Each type has its own collection: a dog training collar for training, a choke chain, an anti-bark dog collar with vibration, or a flea collar for dogs.

Which collar to choose?

  • Puppy or small dog: a thin, light strap in fabric or polyester, in size XS or S.
  • Large breed: a wide, padded strap, or the tactical nylon version.
  • Evening walks: a reflective collar, or a rechargeable light-up version.
  • Style: floral, boho, corduroy or PU leather, whatever look suits them.
  • Small dog that pulls: a harness is better, such as the 4-in-1 packs for small dogs, which include a matching lead and collar.

To measure, wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's neck, where the collar will sit. Each product page gives the adjustment range for each size: pick the one where your measurement falls in the middle, and leave room for two fingers between the strap and the neck.

FAQ

What is the best dog collar?

The best one is the one that fits properly: tight enough not to slip over the head, loose enough to slide your fingers under. After that, the material depends on use: fabric or polyester for everyday, faux leather for elegance, a visible strip for late outings.

Is a collar or a harness better?

A collar carries the ID tag and suits a dog that walks without pulling. If your dog pulls on the lead or is small, a harness spreads the pressure across the chest. See our selection of dog harnesses.

Is it compulsory for a dog to wear a collar?

It isn't the collar that identifies your companion. It remains handy for carrying a tag with your contact details, see our dog ID tags, and for attaching the lead.

To complete the look

This range is divided into remote training collar, GPS dog collar, flea collar for dogs, dog training collar, anti-bark dog collar, choke chain for dogs, light-up dog collar and dog tag: each one meets a specific need. Some also choose the Remote training collar for dogs for specific uses. This range sits alongside flea collar for cats and cat collar, often bought together. For walks, pair it with a matching dog lead, and for summer a dog cooling mat. Everything else for daily life is in our dog accessories.
