Dog car seats for every size

Car seats for small dogs

Compact models sit on a car seat and keep a small dog, or a cat, at window height:

• the square car seat with a rigid frame and built-in safety strap, ventilated according to its product page, in dark grey, light grey, khaki, blue, red or blue and white, for small and medium dogs;
• the 2-in-1 seat and carrier bag, in teal, which doubles as a handbag and a travel bed;
• the plush seat for small dogs and cats, in S (44 x 35 cm) or M (53 x 42 cm);

Cosy car beds and travel beds

For long car journeys, thicker padding and a shape that wraps around your dog:

Which dog car seat should you choose?

• Small dog or cat – the square seat, the plush model or the seat with removable cushion.
• Small dog that also travels on foot – the 2-in-1 seat and carrier bag.
• Medium dog – the sofa-style seat or the double-seat travel bed.
• Large dog – the 73 cm back-seat bed, or the sofa-style bed in L.
• Dog that sheds – a model with a washable cover.

Measure your dog lying down, from nose to base of the tail, then compare with the dimensions on each product page. Measure the car seats or back seat too: a bed that's too wide won't sit flat. For colour, black and grey are the most discreet in a car.

Fitting the seat and securing your dog

Lay the seat flat and secure it as shown on its product page. Then clip your dog in by its harness, never its collar, using a short strap attached to the seat belt or its own fastening. Keep the seat belt buckled so the strap holds. Your dog should be able to lie down and turn around in its car seat without reaching the driver.
