Dog cushions at a range of prices

Around twenty dog cushions and soft beds: round faux-fur models, quilted cushions, cool beds for warm weather and travel models. Many also suit cats. To choose, start with how your dog sleeps, then the size and where you'll put its bed.

Round cushions and calming cushions

A dog that sleeps curled up loves a round cushion with a raised edge where it can rest its head:

  • the cosy calming dog cushion, ultra-soft and easy to wash;
  • the round faux-fur calming bed;
  • the giant plush paw cushion, washable, shaped like a paw;
  • the cosy U-shaped cushion in EPE cotton, designed for cats and small dogs.

Flat and quilted cushions

A dog that sleeps stretched out prefers a flat bed where it can lie at full length:

  • the striped quilted cushion, thick and breathable, from S to XXL;
  • the plain breathable quilted cushion, for the floor or for travelling;
  • the soft rectangular cushion and the square faux-fur cushion;
  • the comfort cushion for cats and small dogs, in soft polyester, with ties at the corners;
  • the thick bone-print model, soft and warm for winter, and the padded model for big dogs, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Beds for warm weather

When it's hot, a breathable bed suits a nap better than a fur cushion. The mesh cooling bed, the woven cartoon-print bed and the cooling model with pillow, in ice-silk fabric, are made for sunny days. For a full range, see our dog cooling mat.

For the car and days out

A few models go with your dog beyond the house: the Confort Plus car bed, the cosy faux-fur car seat with built-in strap, the car seat protector with rear extension, the retro foldable blanket with handle and the foldable travel model. The foldable outdoor cushion, which its product page describes as light and waterproof, is ideal for camping. For walks, a hands-free dog lead and well-fitted dog harness complete the kit.

Which cushion should you choose for your dog?

  • Dog that sleeps curled up – a round cushion with a raised edge.
  • Dog that sleeps stretched out – a flat cushion or a thick mat.
  • Large breed – the largest sizes of the striped cushion, up to XXL, or the padded model for big dogs.
  • Small dog or cat – the U-shaped cushion or the comfort cushion.
  • Hot weather – a breathable mesh bed.
  • Washable dog cushion – check the product page, many models are.

For size, measure your dog asleep, from nose to base of the tail, and add about twenty centimetres: it should be able to stretch without spilling over. Between two sizes, take the larger one if it sleeps stretched out.

Where should you put the cushion?

Indoors, choose a quiet corner, away from draughts and through traffic, but where your dog can still see the living area. On cold tiles, a thick cushion insulates better from the floor. Several dogs can each have their own bed, one in the living area and another near their night bed.

FAQ

What is a calming dog cushion?

It's the name given to round cushions with a raised edge and soft fur, where a dog can curl up. Here, the cosy calming cushion and the round faux-fur calming bed share this shape.

How do you wash a dog cushion?

Follow the care instructions on its product page: some models can be washed whole, others are simply easy to clean. Let it dry completely before giving it back to your dog.
