Cat cushions at a range of prices

A cat cushion gives your cat a resting spot of its own, on the floor, an armchair or a windowsill. Our range brings together twelve products: small models, U-shaped cushions, large faux fur sizes, a giant plush paw and cool mats for hot weather. Choose according to your cat's size, the way it sleeps and the season.

Small cat cushions

For a cat that sleeps curled up in a ball, a small size is enough:

U-shaped cushions to lean on

A U-shaped cushion has a raised edge on three sides: your cat rests its head on it, like a basket without high walls. The U-shaped cushion filled with EPE cotton is washable, in yellow, blue or white. A second version in plush fabric, filled with EPE pearl cotton, comes in the same colours.

Large sizes and faux fur

For a large cat, or a cat that shares its bed with a dog:

  • the rectangular model, in soft polyester, from S to XXL, in grey, beige, pink or light grey;
  • the faux fur square, with a non-slip base, washable according to its product page, from S to XXL;
  • the Giant Plush Paw Cushion, paw-shaped, non-slip and washable, in grey, coffee or pink. Its product page describes it as a cosy cocoon for winter.

These are the models to choose if you're after a round fur cushion or a warm bed for winter.

When it's hot: rattan mat and woven basket

When it's hot, a cat often looks for a cool surface rather than a soft bed. The breathable rattan mat comes in three sizes and a dozen patterns (strawberries, rabbits, ducks, onigiri). The woven basket, with a breathable surface and printed edges, makes a cool indoor bed, in L, XL or XXL. For more models, see our cooling mats too.

A toy in the range

The plush tail toy cushion, sold in a pack of three, isn't a bed: it's a plush tail your cat grabs and nibbles, for play and exercise.

Which cat cushion should you choose?

  • Cat that sleeps curled up: the plush mat or the giant paw.
  • Cat that likes to lean: a U-shaped model.
  • Kitten cushion: the smallest size, such as the comfort model in XS or the small square cushion.
  • Large cat, or cat and dog together: the rectangular or faux fur model, in a large size.
  • On a smooth floor: a model with a non-slip base.
  • Hot weather: the rattan mat or the woven basket.

Measure your cat while asleep, from nose to the base of the tail, and add a few centimetres: it should be able to stretch out. Then compare with the dimensions on each product page.

Where should you put it?

Cats often pick a high or quiet spot where they can see the room: an armchair, the top of a cupboard, a sunny windowsill. Put it where your cat already sleeps rather than somewhere you've chosen for it. An item of clothing that smells of you, placed on it for the first few days, helps it settle in. Wash it according to its product page, and keep a spare if your cat can't do without it.

Cushion, basket or bed?

It's the simplest kind of bed: it goes anywhere, it's easy to move, and it lets your cat sprawl out. A basket or a bed for your cat has higher sides that wrap around it; a raised bed also keeps it off the floor. If yours likes to hide to sleep, also take a look at our Cat baskets and the range cat baskets and beds.

To complete the look

Around its bed, think about cat water fountains, a toy for your cat, and for outings, harnesses made for cats. If a dog lives with it, see our section dog cushion, dog cushions and mats models and our dog pouffe. Everything else for cats is in our cat accessories.
