Dog paddling pools at a range of prices

A dog paddling pool gives your companion a cool dip in the garden or on the patio when it's hot. The range brings together ten products: foldable PVC pools, a rectangular inflatable pool, sprinkler mats, a beach tent and a foldable bathtub. The right choice depends mainly on his size and how much space you have.

Foldable dog paddling pools

Foldable pools open out without inflating or tools, fill with a hose and fold flat for storage:

  • the Square Foldable Non-Slip Pool for Dogs & Cats – compact and light, in blue or red, designed for cats and small breeds;
  • the round one with graphic patterns, 80 or 100 cm in diameter, in cream or grey;
  • the camouflage version, non-slip, 80, 100 or 120 cm in diameter;
  • the model with jets, non-slip, from 80 x 20 cm up to 160 x 30 cm;
  • the Foldable Outdoor Dog Paddling Pool, non-slip, in four sizes up to 160 cm, for large breeds.

Rectangular inflatable pool

The XXL Rectangular Inflatable Dog Pool – in green and orange reinforced PVC – inflates and sets up in the garden. It's our only rectangular model, big enough for the whole family according to its product page.

Sprinkler mats, beach tent and bathtub

For the dog who'd rather play than swim, some alternatives to pools:

  • the Thick PVC Sprinkler Play Mat for Dogs – 100 cm in diameter: hooked up to the hose, it sprays the garden;
  • the large sprinkler mat, in dark or light blue, in 100, 150 or 170 cm, easy to fold;
  • the folding beach tent with built-in pool, in polyester, for the seaside, camping or the garden;
  • the blue foldable bathtub, 64 x 34 cm, for bathing a cat or a small dog.

Which dog paddling pool should you choose?

  • Small dog or cat – the square model, or an 80 cm round one.
  • Medium-sized dog – a foldable model from 100 to 120 cm.
  • Large dog – the outdoor pool in 140 or 160 cm, or the XXL inflatable.
  • Playful dog that doesn't like swimming – a sprinkler mat.
  • On holiday – the beach tent.

For size, measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail: he must be able to lie down and turn around in the water. Go bigger if two pets will share it.

Setting up and looking after it

Place it on flat ground, in the shade if possible, away from branches and gravel that could puncture the PVC. A few centimetres of water are enough for a dog to cool off: he must always be able to stand and get out on his own. Never leave him unsupervised while he's in the water. Empty it every day, rinse it and let it dry before folding.

FAQ

How do you bathe your dog?

In lukewarm water, never cold, wetting the paws first and then the body, without touching the head. The foldable bathtub lets you do it outdoors, and so do our small pools. Rinse well and dry him before he runs off.

Which pool for a large dog?

A foldable model of 140 or 160 cm, or the XXL rectangular inflatable: he must be able to lie down full length in it.
