Dog drying robes at a range of prices

A dog drying robe goes on right after a bath, a swim or a walk in the rain: it soaks up the water from the coat and stays in place, with no towel to hold. The range brings together ten models, from the little pink hooded one to the large sizes, to choose according to your dog's size and coat.

Hooded drying robes

The hood covers the head and ears, where water lingers longest:

  • the pink bathrobe – lightweight, with a hood;
  • the hooded version with ears, in pink or blue;
  • the cosy hooded model, in six colours and up to 3XL.

Microfibre and polyester models

For quick everyday drying:

  • the grey express-drying robe, in polyester fibre, with an adjustable collar and Velcro;
  • the towel coat in green, grey, blue or coffee, sized by weight, from 7 to 35 kg;
  • the striped polyester one, in grey, coffee, red or green;
  • a second striped one, in pink, grey or brown, easy to put on;
  • the Ultra-Absorbent Microfibre Drying Robe – purple or red, with a magic fastening, for medium or large dogs.

For dogs and cats

Two models also suit cats: the Soft Towelling Robe – in yellow, blue, pink or green, hand or machine washable – and the Cosy Robe 3-Piece Pack – adjustable, in two colour sets.

Which dog drying robe should you choose?

  • Small dog, small budget – the pink hooded model.
  • Dog that swims often – a hood, which covers the head too.
  • Large dog – the cosy one up to 3XL, or the microfibre with magic fastening.
  • Dog that hates being dressed – a model with Velcro or a magic fastening, easier to put on.
  • Dog and cat at home – the towelling robe or the pack of three.

In our view, for a first purchase, a hooded model with an adjustable fastening covers most needs.

Getting the right size

Measure your dog standing up, from the neck to the base of the tail, then around the chest. Compare with the size guide on each product page: a robe that's too short leaves the back wet, one that's too tight hampers walking. Between two sizes, go for the larger. For the towel coat, size is chosen directly by weight.

FAQ

Dog drying robe or dog towel?

A towel quickly gets most of the water off; the robe then stays in place while your dog moves around. The two work well together.

Is there a dog drying robe with legs?

None of the product pages in this range mention sleeves: look at the photos of each model to see how it fastens and what it covers.

How do you care for a dog drying robe?

Follow the instructions on each product page: the towelling robe can be washed by hand or in the machine, and the towel coat is described as easy to wash. Let it dry completely before putting it away.

To complete the look

Between washes, a dog wipes is often enough. Afterwards, think of the dog brush, the dog nail clipper and dog toothbrush. To go further: dog clippers, dog blaster dryer, dog recovery cone, and the whole dog grooming section with our dog grooming accessories. Once dry, it's ready for a walk: a walking harness, a dog lead, then a nap on a cooling mat in summer. Everything else is in our dog accessories.
