Where to place it in the car, and what never to do

The back seat, against a backrest, is still the best spot: your dog is supported on three sides and doesn't see the scenery rushing past at the side, which reduces car sickness. In the middle of the seat, they get thrown from side to side.

Never let a dog roam loose in an unseparated boot, and never leave one alone in a parked car in hot weather. If your dog gets car sick, a raised dog car seat that lets them see out the front often does more than a bed.

Which size should I choose?

This model comes in S: 95x42x37cm and L: 120x42x37cm. Measure the space you have in mind and, for a bed, your pet's length lying down plus about ten centimetres. Too snug and it won't get used; too big and it loses its reassuring feel.
