A cat sofa gives your pet a place of its own in the living room, where it can rest without taking your seat. Small indoor cat sofas

For a single cat or a small kitten, a compact size is enough:

Easy-clean sofas

Hair and stains are part of life with cats. These models wipe clean rather than needing a wash:

Cooling sofas and large sizes

The cooling sofa in breathable fabric, soft and washable, in blue or beige, comes in sizes from M (55 x 40 cm) to 2XL (100 x 70 cm): a nap spot for summer. The oval cooling mattress, in breathable technical fibres with a washable cover, does the same job lying flat.

For a large cat, or several pets, the padded sizes go up to XXL: the orthopaedic sofa with 25D foam in velvet, the orthopaedic bed with a thickly padded backrest, and the striped double-cushion sofa, with a removable, washable cover, in pink, beige or black.

Which sofa should you choose for your cat?

• Single cat, small space: the rattan or the checked plush.
• Cat that sheds a lot: faux leather, which is easy to clean.
• Cat that sleeps on your sofa: the waterproof sofa mat.
• Cat that seeks the cool in summer: the sofa in breathable fabric.
• Several pets or a large build: an XL or XXL size.

For the size, measure your cat lying down, from nose to the base of the tail, and add a few centimetres: it should be able to stretch out and turn around. Then compare with the dimensions on the product page.

Is there a scratch-proof cat sofa?

No fabric withstands everything. Rattan and faux leather are described as scratch-resistant on their product pages: these are the materials to go for if your cat scratches everywhere. To give it a proper dedicated spot, add a cat scratcher next to it.

How do you stop your cat damaging your sofa?

Give it a sofa of its own, near a window or your own seat, and cover yours with a waterproof mat. Put a blanket that smells of your cat on its new sofa to tempt it to try it out.

Which stylish cat sofa?
