Where to hang it, and the precautions to take

Hang it on a radiator in a room you actually use, not a closed bedroom. Check the hooks once a month: a single fall is enough for your cat never to get back on it.

Always leave another bed at normal temperature: a cat must be able to move away from the heat when it's had enough. Outside the heating season, a window hammock by a window will take over.

A word of caution for older cats: a cat that stays glued to the radiator all day long is sometimes compensating for pain or early kidney disease. A sudden change in heat-seeking behaviour, in a cat that never used to feel the cold, is worth a vet's opinion.

FAQ

Is it machine washable?

Models with a removable cover, yes, at 30 °C. For the others, hand washing and drying flat stop the filling clumping.

What is it made of?

Plywood and blended fabric. It's this material mix that sets the care routine: check the specifications for the right way to wash it.

Will my pet take to it?

Put it where they already choose to sleep, and lay a cloth with their scent on it for the first few days. A bed set up in a room they don't use stays empty.

Does the colour make any difference?

No: Blue, Pink, Orange and Cow print all share the same dimensions and the same finish. It's purely a question of looks.
