He can't back out of it — straps adjust at several points: the harness fits his shape, not a standard size

Walks become bearable again for you both — you guide instead of holding back, and your arm stops being yanked at every swerve

On without a struggle — it slips over the head and clips at the side, no lifting paws

No-pull dog harness for dogs that pull on the lead

A dog who pulls isn't a badly behaved dog: he simply walks faster than we do, and a collar mostly teaches him to pull harder. The walk turns into a tug of war, and many owners end up going out less often.

A no-pull harness changes the mechanics: the chest attachment turns your dog towards you when he pulls, instead of giving him something to lean into. Nothing tightens, nothing punishes. That's the principle behind our no-pull dog harnesses.

Front or back attachment: what really changes

This one is made of reinforced nylon, lightweight strap with a padded nose band. A front clip redirects, a back clip only spreads the force: both have their place, but they don't do the same job. Pair it with Reinforced No-Pull Dog Harness: two metres long, no shorter and never elastic.

  • Clip the lead at the front, on the chest: it's the front attachment that redirects a dog who pulls
  • Adjust to two fingers' width – a no-pull dog harness that's too loose twists and rubs under the leg
  • Check for rubbing after three walks – the armpit is the first spot to go red
  • Look after the straps: hand washable, quick air dry
  • Stick to a fixed lead – a retractable lead completely cancels out the harness
  • Reward a loose lead – the gear helps, but it teaches nothing on its own

Fitting it, and what a harness can't replace

Getting the fit right is half the job. Too loose, the harness twists to the side and rubs under the leg; too tight, it restricts the shoulder and your dog shortens his stride. Two fingers' width everywhere, and a check after the first three walks.

A harness doesn't replace training: it makes walks manageable while you teach loose-lead walking, that's all. And it's pointless on the end of a retractable lead – a fixed two-metre dog lead is the right partner for it.

A simple test to check the fit: slide your flat hand under each strap with your dog standing. If you can't, it's too tight; if your hand slips through easily, it's too loose. It takes ten seconds and prevents rubbing under the legs, which always shows up by the third walk.

FAQ

Is it suitable for a dog that pulls hard?

That's exactly what it's for. The first walks take a little patience — your dog looks for its old leverage — then pulling drops noticeably within one to two weeks.

Which size should I choose?

This model comes in S, M, L, XL and XXL. Go by your pet's measurements — chest girth and back length — rather than weight: two animals of the same weight don't have the same build. If you're between two sizes, go for the larger one.

Can it be left on all day?

No, like any harness. Put it on for walks and take it off when you get home: worn non-stop, it ends up rubbing under the front legs.

What is it made of?

Reinforced nylon, lightweight strap with padded nose band. This composition is what determines the care: see the specifications for the right way to wash it.
