He can't back out of it — straps adjust at several points: the harness fits his shape, not a standard size

Walks become bearable again for you both — you guide instead of holding back, and your arm stops being yanked at every swerve

On without a struggle — it slips over the head and clips at the side, no lifting paws

No-pull dog harness for dogs that pull on the lead

A dog who pulls isn't a badly behaved dog: he simply walks faster than we do, and a collar mostly teaches him to pull harder. The walk turns into a tug of war, and many owners end up going out less often.

A no-pull harness changes the mechanics: the chest attachment turns your dog towards you when he pulls, instead of giving him something to lean into. Nothing tightens, nothing punishes. That's the principle behind our no-pull dog harnesses.

Front or back attachment: what really changes

This one is made of high-strength polyester + breathable padded lining. Vest harness with no-pull buckle and built-in GPS holder, adjustable – ideal for medium to large dogs — measure the chest girth behind the front legs: it's the only measurement that counts. A front clip redirects, a back clip only spreads the force: both have their place, but they don't do the same job. Pair it with Comfort No-Pull Y Dog Harness: two metres long, no shorter and never elastic.

  • Clip the lead at the front, on the chest: it's the front attachment that redirects a dog who pulls
  • Measure the chest girth behind the front legs: this model is adjustable – ideal for medium to large dogs
  • Adjust to two fingers' width – a no-pull dog harness that's too loose twists and rubs under the leg
  • Check for rubbing after three walks – the armpit is the first spot to go red
  • Look after the straps: hand wash or machine wash at 30°, dries quickly
  • Stick to a fixed lead – a retractable lead completely cancels out the harness

Fitting it, and what a harness can't replace

Getting the fit right is half the job. Too loose, the harness twists to the side and rubs under the leg; too tight, it restricts the shoulder and your dog shortens his stride. Two fingers' width everywhere, and a check after the first three walks.

A harness doesn't replace training: it makes walks manageable while you teach loose-lead walking, that's all. And it's pointless on the end of a retractable lead – a fixed two-metre dog lead is the right partner for it.

A simple test to check the fit: slide your flat hand under each strap with your dog standing. If you can't, it's too tight; if your hand slips through easily, it's too loose. It takes ten seconds and prevents rubbing under the legs, which always shows up by the third walk.

FAQ

How does a no-pull harness work?

The attachment point is on the chest, not the back. When your dog pulls, the tension turns it towards you instead of helping it forward: it loses its leverage and turns round naturally. No pain is involved.

Which size should I choose?

This model comes in S, M, L and XL. Go by your pet's measurements — chest girth and back length — rather than weight: two animals of the same weight don't have the same build. If you're between two sizes, go for the larger one.

Is it suitable for a dog that pulls hard?

That's exactly what it's for. The first walks take a little patience — your dog looks for its old leverage — then pulling drops noticeably within one to two weeks.

What is it made of?

High-strength polyester + breathable padded lining. This composition is what determines the care: see the specifications for the right way to wash it.
