FAQ
Which height should I choose?
Measure the height of the furniture your pet needs to reach, from the floor to the top of the seat. The stairs should come level with it, not below: those last ten centimetres are exactly the ones that cause trouble.
Is it stable for a bigger dog?
Check the stated load limit and that the base is non-slip. Stairs that slip once will never be used again — that trust doesn't come back.
Dog stairs or ramp?
Stairs take up less space and suit most pets. A ramp is the better choice for a dog with arthritis or a large breed, where repeatedly bending the back legs is exactly what you want to avoid.
Will my pet use it straight away?
Rarely on day one. Guide them with a treat, one step at a time, over two or three short sessions. Most dogs take to it in under a week.
