Where to put it, and which dogs it suits

It suits dogs who sleep curled up and medium-sized dogs. For a large, older or arthritic dog, a firm bed gives better support: softness feels comfortable but leaves the joints resting on the floor.

Put it where your dog already sleeps, out of the way of foot traffic. And if you're after real support rather than a nest, you need something like mattress with dense filling.

A density test that beats any description: press your fist, with all your weight, into the centre of the bean bag. If your fist reaches the floor, the filling won't support a dog through a whole night — and it will compact all the faster.

FAQ

Is it machine washable?

Models with a removable cover, yes, at 30 °C. For the others, hand washing and drying flat stop the filling clumping.

Which size should I choose?

This model comes in XS – 45 x 45 cm, S – 55 x 55 cm, M – 65 x 65 cm, L – 80 x 80 cm, XL – 90 x 90 cm and XXL – 100 x 100 cm. Measure the space you have in mind and, for a bed, your pet's length lying down plus about ten centimetres. Too snug and it won't get used; too big and it loses its reassuring feel.

Will my pet take to it?

Put it where they already choose to sleep, and lay a cloth with their scent on it for the first few days. A bed set up in a room they don't use stays empty.

Does the colour make any difference?

No: Light grey, Soft pink and Coffee share the same dimensions and finish. The choice is purely aesthetic.
