Long cat lead for the garden

For the garden or a quiet park, a long lead gives some slack. The long training lead for cats, in nylon, comes in 4.5 m, 9 m or 15 m. Another long lead in lightweight nylon, for cats and dogs, comes in 3 or 5 m.

How do you put a lead on a cat?

First put on the harness, adjusted so two fingers fit under the straps, then clip the lead to the ring on the back. Do this at home for a few days before the first outing.

Do cats like going for walks on a lead?

Some do, some don't. A cat that gets used to it early and is taken somewhere quiet accepts the lead more easily; don't force it if it freezes.
