FAQ
Will the clip hold a large dog?
Check the stated load in the specifications rather than the look: a zamak clip gives way where a steel one holds. It's the part that fails first on a dog lead.
Which size should I choose?
This model comes in 4.5M, 6M, 9M and 12M. Go by your pet's measurements — chest girth and back length — rather than its weight: two pets of the same weight don't have the same build. If you're between two sizes, pick the larger one.
How do I clean it?
Warm soapy water, then air dry. Avoid the washing machine: it damages the stitching on the handle, which takes the most strain.
What is it made of?
Coated stainless steel + high-strength metal snap hooks. It's this material mix that sets the care routine: check the specifications for the right way to wash it.
